BatchForge ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BatchForge platform at batchforge.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We use this to authenticate you, send transactional emails, and communicate service updates.

Uploaded Data

You may upload CSV or JSON files for processing. These files are stored temporarily on our servers to execute your jobs. We do not access, review, or use your uploaded data for any purpose other than providing the service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including job submissions, rows processed, models selected, credit usage, IP addresses, browser type, and access times. This data helps us maintain and improve the service.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the BatchForge platform
  • To process your batch LLM jobs and deliver results
  • To manage your account, billing, and credit balance
  • To send transactional emails (sign-in links, job notifications, billing receipts)
  • To monitor and improve platform performance, reliability, and security
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • To respond to support requests

3. Third-Party Services

To process your jobs, we send your prompt and row data to the LLM provider you select (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. If you use Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), requests are sent directly under your API key and subject to your agreement with that provider.

We also use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files and job results are retained for 30 days after job completion, after which they are automatically deleted. You may delete your data at any time through the platform interface. Account information is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

We encrypt data in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. API keys (including BYOK keys) are encrypted at rest. We implement access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

BatchForge is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using BatchForge, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
